Worship Music
Our purpose in singing Worship Music at APC is to treasure God above all things as we trust
Him in all things. We are able to do this by enjoying different types of songs that help us
remember God’s Holy attributes, songs that encourage us to surrender to God’s design and
care, and songs that challenge us to live lives that honor Him in all that we do. We like to mix a
blend of classic hymns, contemporary classics, and new songs that uphold the truth of God’s
word and inspire our church family to treasure Christ. Come and sing along with us!
Communion
We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of every month at APC. We believe that the Bible is clear that Communion is a reminder and a symbol. It is a reminder of what Jesus accomplished for believers through His life, death and resurrection. Communion is also a symbol of the “new covenant” that God made available for us by His grace through faith in Jesus. We invite all born-again believers of Jesus to receive Communion with us.
Prayer
Prayer is foundational in everything that we do at APC. We are certain of the unchanging
reality of Hebrews 4:16, “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that
we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” During our Sunday
worship service and other various ministry events we enjoy times of prayer in various forms,
such as: Pastor led, small group, times of silence, large group times of sharing, Prayer Summits
etc. Our aim is to seek “intimacy with God that leads to the fulfillment of His purposes”.
