Men's Ministry Mission
To challenge men to live on the edge as they seek God, lead their families, grow in brotherhood, and impact their community.
The Edge
A 2023 survey was conducted to determine the best direction forward for the Anchor Point Men’s Ministry based on the input of the men in our church. Based on the results, a leadership team was developed, and the ministry was given the name “The Edge”.
Three signature events in 2023:
- A men’s breakfast at Hope Farm School in Stockholm, Wisconsin with a video message
- An outdoor scavenger hunt and team building experience at Frontenac State Park
- 1st Annual APC Family Fun Day, featuring a provided lunch and bouncy house
In August 2023, a group of men attended the Guy Challenge at Christian Harbor Youth Camp in Holcombe, Wisconsin. In Fall 2023, the leadership team worked over many weeks to create a guiding document in the form of a strategic plan for the ministry. This document was presented to the Anchor Point Church Elder Team in November 2024 for review and discussion. We will implement the principles of the strategic plan in 2024 with a focus on discipleship.
