Anchor Point Church Wabasha

Our Mission: To challenge men to live on the Edge as they seek God, lead their families, grow in brotherhood, and impact their community.

2023 started with a survey to determine the best direction forward for the Men’s Ministry based on the input of the men in our church. Based on the results, a leadership team was developed comprising of Jack Burns, Sam Riesgraf, and Paul Reynolds. We gave the ministry the name “The Edge”.

Three signature events were planned and executed in 2023: a men’s breakfast at Hope Farm School with a video message, an outdoor scavenger hunt and team building experience at Frontenac State Park, and the 1st Annual APC Family Fun Day. In August, some men attended the Guy Challenge at Christian Harbor Youth Camp. In the fall months, the leadership team worked over many weeks to create a guiding document in the form of a strategic plan for the ministry. This document was presented to the Elders in November for review and discussion. We will implement the principles of the strategic plan in 2024 with a focus on discipleship. As new events are planned they will be posted here.
